FIRE INSPECTION SCHEDULING REQUEST
Please submit your inspection request at least one week in advance. Due to inspection volume, staffing, and the District's service area of more than 50 square miles, inspections are generally scheduled for the following week. Next-day and same-week appointments are typically unavailable.
How the scheduling process works:
- Complete and submit this form to initiate your inspection request.
- Select your preferred date and time. These are preferences only and are not a confirmed appointment.
- Allow up to two business days for Fire Prevention Bureau staff to contact you regarding scheduling.
- Your inspection is scheduled only after staff contacts you and confirms the specific date and time.
Do not assume an inspection has been scheduled simply because you submitted this form or selected a preferred date and time. Please wait for confirmation from Fire Prevention Bureau staff before expecting an inspector to arrive.
Contractor-attended inspections: Requests for fire sprinklers, fire alarms, kitchen fire suppression systems, fire service utilities, underground storage tanks, and similar systems must be attended by the licensed contractor responsible for the work. Property owners who are unsure whether an installation is ready for inspection should coordinate with their contractor before submitting a request.
